Surprising Opportunities at Councils on Aging Over the last 10 years, what used to be called “Senior Centers” have undergone a major transformation. While not all Centers have engaged in making the change due to size or resources, many have fundamentally changed the way they do business. With the new services, opportunities offered and the physical change in the buildings comes the need for staff that have a broader variety of skill sets.
