Today, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and over 11 million are their unpaid caregivers – an escalating health crisis that affects many in our community. Nicole McGurin, Director of Programs & Services at the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter, will present an overview of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, treatment options, research directions, and brain health. She will also share information about the resources of the Alzheimer’s Association and opportunities for MGA members to get involved in its mission. There will be time for discussion and questions.
