American Association of Retired Persons (AARP Massachusetts)
A local branch of AARP advocating for healthcare, employment security and retirement planning, as well as consumers in the marketplace.

Hopkinton Senior Services seeks to enhance and enrich the quality of life for adults aged 60 and older in the Town of Hopkinton, by providing activities and services that encourage independence, healthy living, and continued participation in the community.

LeadingAge Massachusetts
Formerly MassAging, an organization representing the full continuum of mission-driven, not-for-profit providers of health care, housing, and services for older persons in Massachusetts.

LGBT Aging Project
A non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender older adults have equal access to the life-prolonging benefits, protections, services and institutions that their heterosexual neighbors take for granted.

MassAgingAccess
Mass Aging Access is a nonprofit membership association that represents the Commonwealth’s 27 Aging Service Access Points (ASAPs) and Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). Our mission is to work with our member agencies to coordinate and deliver high-quality home and community-based services to older adults age 60+ and people with disabilities so they can live better lives, longer.

Massachusetts Adult Day Care
A community program designed to meet the needs of functionally-impaired adults through an individual plan of care as an alternative to institutionalized care; individuals receive a variety of health, social, and related services in a protective setting during part of the day primarily paid for by Medicaid, although state agencies such as the Executive Office of Elder Affairs and some private insurers may also provide reimbursement for the program.

Massachusetts Council for Home Care Aide Services
The voice for paraprofessional home care aide services in Massachusetts; members include over 100 Medicare certified, non-certified, and private pay agencies which directly employ home care aides and meet standards of training, supervision, and administration as established by the organization.

Massachusetts Senior Action Council
A multi-racial, democratic, grassroots, senior-run organization that empowers over 1000 low- and moderate-income seniors statewide to use their own voices and experiences to create positive change and solutions to the problems that affect them.

Massachusetts Senior Care Association
Represents a diverse set of organizations that deliver a broad spectrum of services to meet the needs of older adults and people with disabilities; members include over 500 nursing and rehabilitation facilities, assisted living residences, residential care facilities and continuing care retirement communities.

Multicultural Coalition on Aging (MCA)
Comprised of more than 65 agencies, institutions and private citizens in the greater Boston area dedicated to the delivery of culturally appropriate care, including educational, clinical and research programs for older adults (archive resources In development).

MassResources.org
A web resource for older adults developed by Community Resources Information, Inc. (CRI) whose principal mission is to maintain Internet websites that provide information about assistance programs and other resources for people with limited incomes.

SHINE (Serving Health Information Needs of Elders)
A program providing free, unbiased and up-to-date health insurance information, counseling and assistance to Medicare beneficiaries of all ages and their caregivers. Counselors help older persons (and younger disabled Medicare beneficiaries) understand their Medicare benefits and other health insurance options.

Social Security (Boston Region)
Covering Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, with 69 field offices, 1 teleservice center, and 7 Disability Determination Services to serve the public with questions about Social Security benefits, and the rights and responsibilities associated with those benefits.

Tufts Health Plan Foundation
A foundation dedicated to healthy aging and improving the lives of adults age 60 or older through funded programs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Since 2009, the foundation has given approximately $10 million to programs that support the healthy aging cause (foundation merger update in development).
